The motion and sitting angles are from my father-in-law Mel’s favorite rocker.

Sturdy and simple assembly with only 9 parts, while most other rockers use 25 to 35 parts. We do not rely on fasteners, which fail, for normal loads, but use the strength of solid material extending through the joints.
